The Standard Analysis calculates the ideal bicycle size and position of the cyclist. With the help of a computer drawing, each client can make an educated choice of which new bicycle fits.
It can also be used to perfectly adjust an existing bicycle.

The Standard Measurement Jig is used to precisely determine eight body dimensions.

  • Height
  • Foot length (left and right)
  • Inseam
  • Torso length
  • Arm length (left and right)
  • Shoulder width

The model of shoe (sole thickness), pedal (height) and type of saddle are also taken into account.

 

Their are several different road bike style we can measure.

 

This depends on:

1. Your bike style (you cannot make a touring bike into a competition racer)

2. Your riding style. (see below)

When fitting is complete we input the data into our computer. This produces 2 drawings. One for the frame and the other for the bike. It detail all sizes and angles for the perfect bike setup. These measurements are yours to keep.

It is advisable when fitting to bring your cycling attire and know the make and model of your shoes and pedals.

 

 

 

 If required  we can move on to the second stage of the bike fitting service.

 

This takes the measurements and transfers them into you bike resulting in a bike which is perfectly fitted to you.

 

The idea is to get your bike as close to a  made to measure as possible.

 

 

This sometimes requires Stems, Handlebars and Cranks to be changed to achieve best results.

 The cost for both services is £79.98. This is 1/2 price (£39.99) when purchased with any race bike.

 

This measurement requires us to have your bike. Wheels are not required. Bike is returned normally in around 2 days
