What is the Cycle to Work Scheme?

Cycle to Work scheme is a UK Government tax exemption initiative introduced in the Finance Act 1999 to promote healthier journeys to work and to reduce environmental pollution. It allows employers to loan cycles and cyclists' safety equipment up to the value of £1000 to employees as a tax-free benefit.

  • Your employer buys the kit for you.
  • Pay your employer back over 12 or 18 months.
  • Pay no interest, tax or National Insurance on the salary sacrifice amount.
  • Repayments are deducted automatically from your salary.
  • Your employer may already be signed up.
  • We make it easy and hassle free.
